The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday recommended that some people resume
Recent data suggest that people who have been vaccinated against the corona virus may be wearing face masks (goggles) in closed areas, and that individuals who have been fully vaccinated may be exposed to dangerously modified delta pressure.
The growing threat of infection has prompted the agency to require individuals to wear the mask indoors, whether or not they have been vaccinated in areas with “high” transmission.
Regardless of vaccination status, the Centers for Disease Control said all students, staff and visitors to certain schools should wear masks when students actively resume classes in the fall.
Highly controlled disease control centers define more than 100 new cases per 100,000 people in the last seven days.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that more than half of the 1,496 U.S. counties have high levels of transmission.
