Zaidas Kadila said one crore Kovid vaccines would be produced every month from Saturday. India has recently approved the Psycho-D vaccine for everyone over the age of 12. The decision was made after that. The agency said it would take some time to prepare the vaccine because it was too late to get approval.
“We were 45 days late to build the new factory because of the delay in getting the permit,” Shardil Patel, managing director of Zaidas Cadillac, told a news conference. We will increase production from October, ”he said, adding that the initial vaccine was in stock. But later the vaccine will be manufactured in India.
Sherbill said 30 to 40 million vaccines will be produced in the next 45 days. Thereafter, the target is to produce one crore vaccines from October. The company will provide immunizations to the government. After that, the government will decide how to give the vaccine to the people. Jaidas Kadila said the price of the vaccine will be announced in the next few weeks.
