The corona vaccine for children may be on the market by September. Randeep Guleria, director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, made the announcement on Wednesday. Randeep said the second and third phases of the vaccine human clinical trial will be completed by next September. He said the ‘human clinical trial’ of the Kovacin vaccine for children began on June 8. The effectiveness of this vaccine is seen in people aged 2 to 18 years. Guleria said pediatric Kovid vaccines, manufactured by US companies Pfizer and Biointech, could also be used in India.
