The DMK was strongly opposed to placing AIADMK banners in front of ration shops when giving Pongal gifts. The ban on placing the banner was lifted as the case continues in the iCourt. Thereafter, the DMK requested the Chief Justice to place banners in certain places and remove the AIADMK banners placed in front of ration shops giving Pongal gifts in violation of the iCourt order.
During the current DMK regime, DMK banners were placed in front of ration shops provided by the Corona Disaster Relief Fund.
The DMK, which had protested against the AIADMK’s banners during the last AIADMK regime, today commented on the banner keeping itself.
