District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Srinagar Choudhary said, ‘Returning officers in Srinagar district have declared the results of the Zilla Vikas Parishad elections in all the 14 constituencies and handed over election certificates to the winning candidates.’ He said that as per the final results, independent candidates have been declared winners in seven constituencies – Srinagar-I, Kamarwari-I, Kamarwari-II, Harwan-I, Harwan-II, Harvan-IV and Harwan-VI. The candidates of Jammu and Kashmir Party (JKP) led by Finance Minister Altaf Bukhari were declared winners in three constituencies – Harwan-V, Khanmoh-I and Srinagar-III.
