Daily infections in the country are gradually declining and many states are gradually mitigating lockdowns.

Further lily infection. Saturday was the lowest daily infection in the country in the last 48 days (1 lakh 83 thousand 690). As the number of victims is declining in most states, the government is considering avoiding lockdowns. But this should be done step by step. For example, in the last five days in Pune, less than 3,000 people have been infected every day. The positive rate was below 10 percent. As a result, the government decided to raise the weekend lockdown in the city. In addition, emergency stores are allowed to be open throughout the week from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Emergency products include cereals, fruits, milk, meat, eggs, bakery, desserts, and any food store. Spectacle shops, matching mobile gear and grocery stores are also included in the list of emergency products.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that the process of closing the city will begin gradually from 5 am on Monday. He said construction work and factories would start first. Thereafter, the situation will be assessed in a phased manner every week. In the last 24 hours, 900 people in the capital have been affected by corona. Lockdown has increased in Tamil Nadu till June 8 but some services have been written off. The government has ordered the closure of grocery stores in the first phase of the lockdown, but said goods can be sold in carts or vans from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the permission of the local government.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has said that the people of the state should not co-operate to increase the lockdown. For now, the lockdown is expected to continue until June 6, but many are worried it will increase. In Uttar Pradesh too, the government said the rate of infection was declining. Meanwhile, the lockdown has been extended to June 9 in Kerala and June 8 in Goa as the situation is out of control.

Children are most at risk in the third wave of corona. With that in mind, a special task force is being formed with Andhra Pradesh pediatricians to assist the government.
