The number of people infected with the corona virus in India has increased by about 3.51 crore to over one lakh. The deadly virus has killed more than 4.83 million people.
The Tamil Nadu Health Department said in a statement today that 6,983 people, including those from abroad and neighboring states, have been infected with the corona virus. Of these, 4,058 were males and 2,925 were females. The number of victims rose from 27 lakh to 67,432. The number of patients rose to 22,828. There are 321 testing centers in Tamil Nadu.
Today, 11 people have died. 7 died in private hospitals and 4 in government hospitals. This brings the total corona death toll to 36,825. Today, 721 people have recovered from the corona infection, bringing the total number of survivors so far to 27 lakh 7,779. Called
