A plane avoided a major accident while landing at Kolkata airport. The Vistara UK 75 was returning from Mumbai. The plane shook violently during landing due to bad weather. As a result, the pilot applied a quick emergency brake to avoid a major accident. Several passengers were injured. The passenger was admitted to the hospital on the side of the bypass as the three floors were critical. The plane landed at 4:25 p.m.
Airport sources said three passengers were seriously injured and others were slightly injured in the incident. The injured were taken to the airport after the plane landed. The injured were later admitted to hospital.
The three passengers were Sudeep Roy, Anita Agarwal, Timirbaran Das and Timir’s son Shuo.
