A young man from Ampura was killed when his car collided with a two-wheeler near Kanchipuram.
Hariprasad (32) hails from Ambur in Tirupati district. He was working as an employee at a private clinic in Tambaram, Chennai. In this situation, Hariprasad was going to Ambur in his two-wheeler from Kanchipuram yesterday. Poovannan from Thiruvannamalai was also with him.

The car collided with Hariprasad’s vehicle near the new railway station at Ponnerikara near Kanchipuram. Hariprasad died on the spot. In addition, Poovannan was seriously injured. He was rushed to the Kanchipuram Government Hospital for treatment.
Kanchipuram taluk police recovered Hariprasad’s body and sent it for postmortem. Kanchipuram taluk police also registered a case and arrested a youth driving a car in Cuddalore.
