The curfew in Tamil Nadu has been extended till June 14 with some concessions.
The curfew was reduced from 6 am on the 14th due to declining corona spread in Tamil Nadu.
The worst affected districts are Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayaladuthurai. Therefore, in order to prevent the spread of the disease in these districts, essential activities have been sanctioned with restrictions from the seventh day only in 11 districts, while meeting the essential needs of the public.
Shops selling groceries, groceries, vegetables, meat and fish will be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pedestrian stalls selling vegetables, fruits and flowers are allowed to operate from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Alternative arrangements should be made to place these markets in more than one open area to allow fish markets to operate solely for wholesale trade.
Slaughterhouses are allowed only for wholesale
All government offices are allowed to work with 30 percent of the staff
Delegate offices are allowed to issue deed registers with 50% token per day
Match factories are allowed to operate with 50% of employees in compliance with standard guidelines.
