A native of Coimbatore died tragically after being caught in a huge wave while bathing in the sea near Kanyakumari.
Arogyaraj hails from Sauripalayam in Coimbatore district. Wife Jacintha (51). Their daughter is Sharon Richa, 23. Last Saturday, Jacinta along with her daughter Rani (47) and daughter Kavia (23) came to a relative’s house in Suchindram in Kanyakumari district. Following this, they traveled to various places by car yesterday and bathed in thousands of Pozhimukham beaches near Rajakamangalam.

Just then, Jacinta, Sharon Richa and Gavia were caught in a huge wave and dragged into the sea. Seeing this, their relatives cried out and someone nearby ran to rescue Kavia and Sharon Richa. But Jacinta was dragged into the sea. Soon, Jacinta floated dead in the sea.
Rajakamangalam police recovered Jacintha’s body and sent it to Kumari Government Hospital for postmortem. The Kumari Coast Guard is also investigating the incident.
