The Okanagan Cauvery River receives 48,000 cubic feet of water per second.
Areas including Panchappally, Dhenkanikottai, Krishnagiri and Cauvery catchments will receive heavy rainfall. With this, the water level in the Okanagan Cauvery river in Dharmapuri district rose to 30,000 cubic feet yesterday evening. As the rains continued in the catchment areas, the water level in Okanagan rose to 48,000 cubic feet per second until 8 am today. This is followed by the Okkanagan Main Falls, Five Falls and Cini Falls.
