The incident in which a patient from Namakkal hanged himself in the toilet of the Erode Government Hospital caused a stir.
Namakkal District School SBP Prakash (51) is a native of the colony. Wage laborer. He was admitted to the Erode Government Hospital 4 days ago due to sudden illness. Doctors are continuing treatment there and it is said that Prakash’s condition has not improved. Thus he appeared to be depressed.

In this case, Prakash went to the inpatient ward toilet of the hospital at around one o’clock in the morning and hanged himself there. The other patients who went to the toilet were shocked to see Prakash hanging dead. The government hospital later informed the police station.
