The Russian emergency services announced that the location of the An-26 transport plane had been located in Kamchatka, after contact with it was lost during a domestic flight in the region.
A spokesman for the emergency services announced that rescue teams had located the crash site of the An-26 plane in Kamchatka.
The plane, belonging to a local carrier, was on a flight from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to the town of Palana, and contact with it was lost during the flight.
And there were on board the plane, according to the Ministry of Emergencies, 28 people, including 22 passengers, including one child, and a crew of 6 people.
The local airline says that contact with flight 251 was lost as it approached the town of Palana, 9 kilometers from the destination.
