Prisoners beat themselves up for not releasing their wards from the Mandoli Jail in Delhi. Authorities prevented two prisoners from leaving the ward. So both are hurting themselves.

They persuaded other prisoners as well. The other prisoners attacked and injured each other on the instructions of the inmates. Prison officials said about 25 people had done the same in prison. Only one person was seriously injured. He was taken to a solitary confinement hospital where he was treated and returned to prison. All others have been given first aid in prison.
Earlier, a similar incident took place at Delhi Tihar Jail two weeks ago. It is noteworthy that some of the prisoners suddenly collided with weapons and 2 people were injured.
