State Health Minister Sudhakar said two passengers traveling from South Africa to Bangalore in Karnataka had been diagnosed with the omega-3 virus.

He told reporters that test samples of the infected had been sent to a federal laboratory and could only be confirmed after the results were received. He said all measures were being taken to prevent the spread of the new virus. They say this new type of virus is spreading fast, and I fear it will not stop millions of people from coming and going every day in a big country like India.
He added that along with the 5Ts, Trace, Track, Test, Treat and Technology (5Ts – Trace, Track, Test, Treat and Technology) have stepped up surveillance at all airports.

He said people from the 10 countries where the omega-1 outbreak is said to be confirmed would be admitted to hospitals and those who came to Karnataka from South Africa would be tested for corona. And those who have been in contact with them for the past 15 days.
