Non-vegetarian food is no longer available on these trains -IRCTC

Most of the people who pass through these shops are disgusted by the smell of non-vegetarian food. In addition, the display of chicken and eggs hurts religious sentiments. Therefore, display of meat dishes in stores is prohibited. Shopkeepers must follow this procedure within 15 days. The mayors of Vadodara and Rajkot corporations in Gujarat have ordered action against them if they do not.

In BJP-ruled Gujarat, such an order has been condemned by many. Social activists against the BJP are questioning why it is interfering in personal diet. In this situation, it has been announced that trains will no longer serve meat and will only serve vegetarian food.

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation has reportedly banned only vegetarian food and meat on some trains.

But on some trains, it is planned to introduce this method on trains going on routes connecting places of worship. Vegetarian food is now only available on trains to places of worship.

Currently, meat is not available on the Vande Bharat Express train from Delhi to Kadra. The waitress on the train was told not to handle the food and that there would be no other items in the kitchen other than vegetarian items.

The decision by the IRCTC has come as a shock to movement lovers.
