An employee of a private company was killed in a dispute over playing cards near Theni.
Ram Prasad (30) hails from Toyka Countenpatti village near Allinagaram in Theni district. Private company employee. He is married and has a wife and 2 children. In this situation, Ram Prasad, who was at home yesterday as it was a holiday, was playing lottery with the youth of the area.
Then, a sudden confrontation ensues between them. The enraged youths stabbed Ram Prasad and escaped. In it he was seriously injured. Nearby people rescued Ram Prasad and took him to Theni Government Hospital for treatment.
But he died on the way to the hospital. Allinagaram police found the body and sent it for post-mortem. The case is being investigated and the killers are being actively investigated.
