Antony (38) hails from Cholassery village near Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar district. He was selling milk in the same area. In this situation, Antony was traveling in a two-wheeler on the Rajapalayam-Tenkashi highway yesterday morning.

At that time, a lorry carrying goods from Theni to Tenkashi collided with Antony’s vehicle. Antony fell from the vehicle and died on the spot.
Informed Rajapalayam South police reached the spot and recovered Antony’s body and sent it to Rajapalayam Government Hospital for postmortem. In addition, a lorry driver from Kovilpatti, Ramasamy, was arrested and is being investigated.
