The Corona Vaccination Campaign was launched on January 17, 2021 in India. Exactly one year has passed since then. Sunday marks the one year anniversary of the Kovid Vaccination Program in India. During this period, 156 crore vaccines were given in the country.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the people.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated the Prime Minister. Shah praised doctors, health workers and corona workers. He said India was a model for the world under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the Union Ministry of Health, 93 per cent of the country’s adult population has received at least one vaccine. 89.7 percent received twin vaccines. When the first immunization program was launched on January 17 last year, the vaccine was given to doctors and health workers. Vaccination of corona fighters began on January 2nd. Vaccination for those over 18 years of age began on May 1 of that year.
