The number of people infected with the corona virus in India has increased by about 3.92 crore to over one lakh. The deadly virus has killed more than 4.89 million people.

In a statement issued today, the Tamil Nadu Health Department said, “30,580 people have been infected with the corona virus, including those from abroad and neighboring states. Of these, 17,324 were males and 13,256 were females. The number of victims rose from 31 lakh to 33,990. The number of patients rose to 30,567. There are 330 testing centers in Tamil Nadu.
Today, 40 people have died. Fifteen died at private hospitals and 25 at government hospitals. The death toll from corona has risen to 37,218. Today, 24,283 people have recovered from the corona infection, bringing the total number of survivors so far to 28,95,818. Called
