Kovid’s treatment at Sir Gangaram Hospital in New Delhi was a great success. The antibody cocktail was successfully applied on the body of the patient affected by Kovid. Two Kovid patients were given this antibody therapy. Both recovered within 12 hours of applying the antibody cocktail. Hospital officials said they had also been released.
Kovid, a 36 – year – old health worker suffering from fever, cough, malaria, severe weakness and leukopenia, was given an antibody cocktail seven days after he was diagnosed, according to a statement from the hospital. Within 12 hours the patient’s health improved and he was released. RK Rajan, 60, had diabetes, high blood pressure, fever and cough. Oxygen levels were more than 95 percent. At the end of 5 days he was given an antibody cocktail. The patient recovered within the next 12 hours.
The antibody cocktail contains two antibodies, Kasirivimab and Indivimab. Doctors claim that these two antibodies are particularly effective in increasing the human body’s resistance to corona.
Dr. Pooja Khosla of the Department of Medicine at Sir Gangaram Hospital said: High-risk patients can be avoided by being admitted to the hospital. Do not use steroids or immunomodulation or use in moderation. “Awareness of monoclonal antibody therapy will reduce the burden of spending on health care.”
