Following the controversy on social media, Egyptian authorities denied warnings to citizens not to go to hospitals because of the rising corona virus, which has witnessed an increase in infection rates in recent days.
A pamphlet has been circulated warning users of social networking sites in Egypt not to go to hospitals if they experience symptoms of the corona virus, and the ministry will send response teams to conduct home inspections.
The Egyptian cabinet confirmed that the circular was fake and not affiliated with the ministry, noting that the health ministry had not sent any medical team to its homes to investigate those suspected of being infected with the corona virus.
All hospitals are assigned to receive corona cases in different governorates and if all the necessary tests and analyzes are done and it is confirmed that the case is transferred to the hospital for treatment as per the treatment protocol of the Ministry of Health. In the case of minor symptoms they may be infected in the laboratory or at home isolation.
While seeking information from official sources, he appealed to all citizens not to fall prey to rumors aimed at creating panic among them.
The past few days have witnessed an increase in the rate of infection with the “omiciron” mutant, which has spread to most countries around the world, especially after the first appearance of the corona virus in Egypt, especially in South Africa.
Countries are demanding the availability of corona virus vaccination to boost immunity and reduce the spread of the virus.
