Accordingly, Chief Minister MK Stalin began the task of giving a booster dose vaccine on the 10th. The plan is to vaccinate more than 10 lakh people by January 31.

Home-made booster dose injections are given to people over the age of 60 who book by phone. In addition, as the mega vaccination camp will be held in Tamil Nadu on Saturdays, special camps will be held from Thursday (today) to provide booster dose, said Welfare Minister M Subramanian. In this context, special booster dose vaccination camps are being conducted in 600 places in Tamil Nadu today. Booster dose vaccination is given at 160 places in Chennai alone.

More than 20 lakh 83 thousand people across Tamil Nadu have been found to be eligible for booster dose vaccination. Therefore, the Department of Health recommends that all leading workers and those over the age of 60 be given a booster dose. It has been decided to conduct a special booster vaccination camp on Thursdays every week and from today onwards in all the hospitals and camps in Tamil Nadu.
