The second wave of Kovid caused a stir in Orissa as well as in other parts of the country. The Orissa government has imposed a 14-day lockdown to disrupt the broadcasting network. Lockdown restrictions will begin in that state on May 5th. This will continue until May 19.
No restrictions have been imposed on the movement of health workers and emergency services during these 14 days. But ordinary people have to buy daily necessities within 500 meters from home.
Incidentally, it has been affecting more than 6-7 thousand people daily in Orissa for the past few days. In the last 24 hours, 10,413 people have been infected in the state. The number of active patients there also exceeded 71,000. In this case, the lockdown was imposed in the state ruled by Naveen Patnaik.
Lockdown is already underway in Delhi to control the situation beyond control. Partial lockdown is also taking place in Maharashtra. In addition, several state governments have imposed night curfews to control the situation.
