The two-wheeler rally of Tamil Nadu Police from Kumarimunai to Gujarat started today on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday.
October 31, the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, is celebrated as National Unity Day every year. This year, under the guidance of the Central Government, a two-wheeler rally for the police will be launched in four directions of the country – Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Tripura.

As part of this, 25 Tamil Nadu police officers led by Deputy Chief Minister Kumar left the Kanyakumari Gandhi Mandapam today in a two-wheeler for a distance of 2.85 km on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Police. The rally will start from Kanyakumari, pass through Dindigul, Krishnagiri, Chitradurga, Hubli, Kolhapur, Pune, Thane, Gujarat and Narmada districts for 10 days and reach Kawadia on the 24th.

Tamil Nadu Special Police Additional DGP Abhay Kumar Singh attended the event and flagged off the two-wheeler rally. Nellai Commodity DIG Praveen Kumar Abhinav, Kanyakumari District Collector Aravind, District SP (Responsible) Maheshwaran, District Additional S. Ishwar and others.
