A fire at a paper factory in Gujarat has caused a great deal of controversy.
There is a paper factory at Vapi in Valsad district of Gujarat. There was a sudden fire in the middle of the night. With this, the fire started spreading throughout the plant.
As the fire started to burn uncontrollably, smoke formed there. After informing the fire brigade, the fire brigade reached the spot in about 10 vehicles and tried to put out the fire.

Troops struggled to contain the blaze, which lasted more than four and a half hours. But attempts to extinguish the fire failed. This was followed by the deployment of more fire trucks and firefighting operations.

Millions of rupees worth of paper and raw materials were burnt in the accident. This caused a loss of lakhs. However, no casualties were reported.
