Two children who went to play near Tirupati drowned in a river.
Muthu hails from Anna Nagar in AK Motur village in Tirupati district. Daughter Sanjana (3). Similarly, Kishant (3), son of Suresh from Karashalampatti. Two boys were playing in a snake-infested ravine in the area this morning. Then 2 children slipped unexpectedly in the ravine and were swept away.

Locals who saw this immediately informed the Tirupati fire station. Following this, the fire brigade reached the spot and conducted a search. After an hour – long search, their children Sanjana and Kishant were found dead. Following this, the Tirupati Village Police seized the bodies and sent them to the Tirupati Government Hospital for post-mortem.
Village police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. AK Motur villagers were saddened by the incident where 2 children drowned while playing in the stream.
