A 7-year-old boy was killed when his two-wheeler collided with a car parked on the roadside near Coimbatore.
Sivakumar (37) hails from Muthalipalayam near Karumathampatti in Coimbatore. He is working as an employee in a private factory in the same area. Wife Remya (30). They have two sons, Pranav (7) and Sai (2). At this time, Sivakumar was going to Remya’s parents’ house in Gannathoor with his family in a two – wheeler for the Diwali festival. A two-wheeler collided with a car parked near Kaniyoor toll plaza on the Salem-Kochi National Highway.

Sivakumar’s eldest son Pranav was seriously injured in the head. The other three sustained minor injuries. Those nearby rescued them and rushed them to the hospital by ambulance. But on the way to Pranav, the child died tragically. Sivakumar, Remya and Kunju Sai are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Karumathampatti police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
