Two youths were killed when an unidentified vehicle collided with a two-wheeler near Kanyakumari.
Thankaraja Mani hails from Dharmapuram near Ettamozhi in Kanyakumari district. Son Devarasu (20). Studied Catering in Coimbatore. Similarly in Rajakamangalam sector is Lijos (20). He studied at a private college in Chennai. The two friends were on vacation. The two were traveling in a two-wheeler on the road from Ithamozhi to Nagercoil last night.

An unidentified vehicle rammed into their two-wheeler at Periyavila and fled without stopping. He fell from the vehicle and crashed into a nearby electricity pole, killing himself on the spot. Lijos was rushed to Kumari Hospital with serious injuries. But died on the way to the hospital.
Following the tip-off, Ithamozhi police arrived and seized the bodies of the two deceased and sent them to a government hospital for post-mortem. Subsequently, the police registered a case and are investigating the vehicle based on the CCTV camera footage of the area.
