Sensex up 32 points to Rs 28,000 crore

Indian equities traded higher today. The Sensex was up 32 points.

Indian stock markets opened today with the first trading day of the week. However, the rise did not last long, after which the stock market fluctuated. Eventually the stock price ended with a slight rise. A total of 15 corporate stocks rose, including 30 institutional stocks, which help the Sensex, Power Grid and ITC. Meanwhile, a total of 15 corporate stocks, including Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, fell.

Shares of 1,305 companies traded higher on the Mumbai Stock Exchange today. 2,114 shares of the company’s stock fell. The company’s stock price remained unchanged at 157. The total market capitalization of companies listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange rose to Rs 270.43 lakh crore. As a result, investors in the stock market today made a total profit of Rs 28,000 crore.

At the close of trading today, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex was up 32.02 points at 60,718.71. Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty rose by 6.70 points to close at 18,109.45.
