The Punjab government has announced compulsory leave for government employees who have not been vaccinated against the corona virus.

The second wave of the corona virus is currently gaining strength across the country. The impact, which was less than 30,000, has now reached 40,000. Corona has had a major impact, especially in states including Kerala. This will be the beginning of the third wave, said a doctor at ICMR. Therefore, vaccination activities have been legalized in all the states.

Government employees have been ordered to be vaccinated compulsorily. Similarly, private companies are forcing their employees to be vaccinated. In this context, the Punjab government’s announcement that it would grant compulsory leave if the vaccine is not paid came as a shock to state government employees.
The government said in a statement that the corona vaccine had not even been given the first dose.
