Palakkad: Shornur MLA PK CPM decides to take Sasi back to Palakkad district secretariat. The decision of the party district committee meeting convened today will be recommended to the state committee.
PK on the complaint of a woman leader. Shashi was suspended two years ago. The CPM later withdrew. The disciplinary action was taken by the party state committee. The committee took action after discussing Shashi’s explanation.
The action was taken on a complaint filed by a DYFI Palakkad district committee member. AK Gandhi, who had lodged a complaint seeking action against Sasi Balan-P.K. Mrs. Commission had found.
Shashi was reinstated to the district committee in September 2019 following the completion of his six-month suspension.
